Is there any added harm in smoking menthol cigarettes

  Menthol cigarettes have their own set of dangers which are also similar to cigarettes, however, they could increase the chances of addiction because they reduce the bitterness of the smoke making it easier to take long draws which in turn increases the chances of inhaling the chemicals.
