What was the reason behind the National Industrial Recovery Act (NIRA) in force?
NIRA sought to help bring recovery in the economy by ensuring fair working conditions, controlling industries, and assisting in cooperation between employers and employees. It was among the prongs of the first stage of New Deal of FDR.
