What lasting changes did FDR’s presidency bring with respect to the image of the federal government in the eyes of people?
One of the most visible legacy of Roosevelt’s presidency was the expansion of the federal government into the lives of American citizens. His New Deal dealt with their economic needs and his presence during WWII depicted a well-organized federal government working for the people and not against them giving them faith that their lives can be made better.
